This EP comes with a great backstory about "the long-forgotten DP-6 shuttlecraft of the Kwansi pirates," that is well worth finding to read while you delve into the tunes. They operate in a dubbed-out techno world that is slow motion to start with on 'Fire,' a laid-back and breezy cut with warming synths smeared from one side of the stereo field to the other. 'Air' is slightly more upright and dynamic but no less deep then 'Earth' bringing some texture and more steel-plated drums to move things on before 'Water' closes out a blissed-out vibe with light-emitting pads that bring some hope and emotional uplift.
