Vintage Culture is a uniquely skilled house artist, having scaled the heights of superstardom whale retaining a relatively unique sonic identity. How might one describe his sound? We would describe it in select terms: raw, packed with texture, blazing, and tinged with an uptempo flavour that recalls the slapdash and sample-filled approach of many French house artists. 
This new EP from Defected celebrates four of Vintage Culture's most recent productions, documenting a variety of approaches to an oppressive, energetic and all-round rabid house mode.
