Four new bits from Yellow Van Records, sharing the fourth edition of their V/A EP series, all of the tracks on which work in the lenses of soulful edit house. Yann Polewka's tune is a soul-static sidechainy Rhodeser, while Tilman's 'Hands Up' brings the wonky uptempo pace of Italo disco to the abstract. 'Italian Sound' by Innocent Soul recalls the wonky clappy house of Kaytranada's early stuff, while DJ Delivery's 'Never Give Up On A Good Thing' returns to simplicity. All crackers.
